STAPRO on the 5th Conference for IT in Slovak Healthcare

Stapro participated in the 5th Conference for Information Technologies in Slovak Healthcare, which was held in Bratislava on the 31st of May, 2005. The main themes of the conference were the much- discussed IT projects that are an important aspect of healthcare reform in Slovakia. Stapro, especially its Division of Healthcare Management, is proud to be the provider of the reform’s main project, which concerns a technology support proposal for the National Centre for Healthcare Information. Hynek Kruzik from Stapro presented the project’s stages, its impact on healthcare informatics and the preliminary recommendations. A detailed proposal for a new data set, which will be used for hospitalisation statistics and healthcare quality evaluation, was introduced by Milos Suchy, the head of the Division of Healthcare Management.
